It’s pretty common knowledge among traders that the “higher the time frame you can identify a trend” on, the more “dependable and sustainable” this trend will be. This can also be said for the significance/strength of horizontal lines drawn on a chart where these lines can be “passed through with ease” on smaller time frames yet…..can act as “cement floors or ceilings” on the higher.
It should always be understood that the higher a time frame you can identify a trend, a pattern, or a horizontal line of support or resistance – the stronger and more reliable that indicator will be.
