RSI – The Only Oscillator I Use

I shouldn’t say “use” but more so  – view.

RSI ( The Relative Strength Index ) is a technical momentum indicator that compares the magnitude of recent gains to recent losses, in an attempt to determine overbought and oversold conditions of an asset.

It sits along the bottom of your charts and manifests as a simple “single line” ranging from 0 – 100 with preset “maximums” usually marked at 70 ( suggesting an asset is approaching and overbought condition ) and 30 ( suggesting an asset is approaching an oversold condition ).
